Youth Theatre Festival took place from October 1-4, 2021 in Belgrade/Serbia, presenting 6 performances for the audience which were all live-streamed and hosting around 50 participants from 5 countries – Germany, North Macedonia, Poland, Switzerland, and Serbia, including participants with fewer opportunities like deaf and hard of hearing participants and young migrants and asylum seekers.

The Art of Living through Theatre took place in Bielefeld in Germany

Mobility of youth workers, The Art of Living through Theatre, took place in Bielefeld in Germany from July 28 – August 3, 2021, with 17 participants from 5 countries including Germany, North Macedonia, Poland, Switzerland, and Serbia.

Participating organizations were Theaterlabor from Bielefeld as a host organization, Intimen Theatre from North Macedonia, Jubilo from Poland, Zurich University from Switzerland, Plavo Theatre, and Cultural-Artistic Association of the Deaf of Belgrade from Serbia. Participants were theatrical pedagogues (actors, directors, dancers) working with youth, including two deaf artists.

Empowering for the Future, took place in Belgrade in Serbia

The second youth mobility of the project, Empowering for the Future, took place in Belgrade in Serbia from June 29 – July 4, 2021, with 26 participants from 3 countries including Poland, Switzerland, and Serbia.

Participating organizations were Plavo Theatre from Belgrade as a host organization, Jubilo Foundation, and the University of Zurich. Young participants of the mobility were young performers, university students interested in theatre as well as young migrants and asylum seekers.

Youth mobility Empowering for the Future took place in Bitola in Macedonia from June 28 – July 2, 2021, with 28 participants from 3 countries including North Macedonia, Germany, and Serbia.

Participating organizations were Intimen Theatre from Bitola as a host organization, Theaterlabor Bielefeld, and Cultural-Artistic Association of the Deaf of Belgrade “Radivoj Popovic”.

Cultural-Artistic Association of the deaf of Belgrade ’Radivoj Popovic’ started workshops and rehearsals with young deaf and hard of hearing young people in March after a longer break caused by Covid. They are very happy they have been able to work again within our mutual Erasmus+ co-funded project Initiative-Inclusion-Interaction/ Contemporary Theatre for Active Youth.

Za nami 10 dni kolejnych sesji roboczych w ramach projektu Erasmus+ Initiative – Inclusion – Interaction, Contemporary Theatre for Active Youth.

Behind us 10 days of consecutive working sessions as part of the Erasmus+ Initiative – Inclusion – Interaction, Contemporary Theater for Active Youth project. It was a time of particularly hard work for everyone involved. Now it’s time to take a breathe in order to return to trainings soon with new energy.
